Unfortunately, I am no longer taking new patients. (For those I have seen in the past, as you know, my door is always open.) If you contact me, I may be able to refer you to someone I know and trust--alternatively check the list of therapists below. If you are searching for a therapist, please remember: a good match is crucial. Make sure the therapist “gets it,” and that you feel comfortable with him or her.
I offer psychotherapy for individuals and couples. Because I keep my practice small, and I see people long-term, I typically have few openings in my schedule. However, if I feel there is an excellent match, I will do what I can to see you. If I can't, I may be able to refer you to another therapist I know and trust (see below).
Our meetings start with a one or two session evaluation. During this time I will ask a lot of questions, do a lot of thinking, give feedback at the end about what I have heard, and decide whether or not I can be of help. I'll also try to answer any questions you may have about me and the therapy process.
My fee is $175 per 50 minute session. Under certain circumstances I can reduce the fee. I am not an in-network provider for any insurance plans. However, I may be able to accept some insurance payments, depending on the plan. The best way to find out is to call your insurance company.
